# How to Create Custom Fields

Learn how to create custom fields for Leads, Contacts, and Deals in LeadLoft.

### How to Create Custom Fields:

1.  Navigate to [Settings > Custom Fields](https://app.leadloft.com/settings?part=customFields)
    
2.  Click "Create New Custom Field" at the bottom.
    
3.  Define the Settings
    
4.  Click "Create"
    

You can create fields for **Deals**, **Leads**, or **Contacts**. So when creating a Custom Field, make sure your creating the field for the correct data type.

> **Info:** Custom Fields are only available for users on our "Unlimited" plan.
