What is BounceShield by LeadLoft?
BounceShield is a Playbook feature that allows you to verify any email with near 100% accuracy. BounceShield can even verify Catch-All email addresses, which you may know as “Uneverified” or “Risky” emails.

When should you use BounceShield?

How does BounceShield work?
Some email domains catch all messages (catch-all or risky), and others are protected by Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) like Mimecast or Proofpoint. These setups make it hard for most email verification tools to know if an email address is real or not.
BounceShield solves this.
Instead of marking all these emails as “risky” or “Unverified”, BounceShield uses advanced signals, not just basic SMTP checks, to accurately predict if an email will bounce.
