LeadLoft Playbooks show you how well your outreach is working by looking at contacts who received at least one touchpoint. This keeps the stats simple and easy to understand for both email and LinkedIn.
How Stats Are Calculated
When you open the Playbooks page or look at the top of an individual Playbook, you’ll see overall Playbook stats. Here’s how they work:
Contacts Counted: Only contacts who received at least one touchpoint (email or LinkedIn) are included.
Replies Counted: Based on how many of those contacts replied to any message in the Playbook.
Works the same for both email and LinkedIn. If they got at least one message from that channel, they’re counted.
If you enroll one contact who receives two LinkedIn messages and two emails, and they reply once, this counts as a 100% reply rate.
1 Contact / 1 Contact Replied = 100% Reply Rate
Why We Track Stats This Way
We focus on overall Playbook replies because:
It shows the big picture of how your outreach is performing.
The goal is to see how many unique contacts respond, not just message-by-message results.
This helps you understand if your whole Playbook is working, not just one step.
Step-Level Stats
If you want to see replies for specific steps (like an automated email or LinkedIn message):
Open a Playbook.
View the step you want to analyze.
You’ll see how many messages were sent and how many replies came from that step.
A playbook step sends 100 emails, and that step has received 10 replies, this counts as a 10% reply rate for that step of the playbooks.
100 Emails Sent / 10 Replies = 10% Reply Rate (Step Specific)
